Looking for a resource (video, podcast or article) that discusses entrepreneurship by African-Americans during the time when racism was more widespread. I remember examples being discussed but I can’t remember what it was.
I don’t know if this information will help, but Booker T. Washington made the Tuskegee Institute into a successful institution meant to train African-Americans in various vocations. It was quite successful at the time, and racism was certainly widespread at the time.
How about athe Negro Baseball League starters and Cumberland Posey in particular?
