In my opinion is downright scary that people around the world are increasingly turning to Dr Paul. Scary because this means there are no similar persons left in Sweden, Turkey, whatever to uphold his same values. People have to look the other side of the Atlantic for guidance because the offer on the home market is so downright pathetic as to be frankly embarassing. And to think Europe gave birth to Bastiat, Menger, Tocqueville, Mises…

Well, there are only 9 million people living in Sweden, but yes, there are very few libertarians here.

Ok, so my reasoning there was flawed-- but I still think he’s simply just trying to raise awareness. I’m sure he wasn’t under the delusion that the bill was going to actually pass, that was my point.
