no. i was into gambling for a short time in my life, but thats really the extent of blowing money away.
I see. But you do believe some companies do rip off their customers right? cause I been rip off before and it some times conflicts with my belief in capitalism.
It strengthens my belief in Capitalism. Private courts would provide a far better chance for recourse than the State ones. People aren’t blissfully ignorant thinking their overlords will save them. They are more likely to be aware of the risks and invest time in not being scammed.

Well bank of america ripped me off by removing my deposits right before my charges went through causing me to overdraft. I closed my account already. Once I put money into a guys machine which didn’t work so I went and told him but he never refunded me my money. I kept thinking that if I were to steal something from his store I would go to jail but he somehow is able to get away with stealing my money. Just because I’m on your property doesn’t mean you can take my property.
Well that doesn’t sound like capitalism. Unfortunately, it sounds like your losses are so small, they aren’t worth pursuing justice over.

If I stole a $1 candy from walmart you think they’ll let me get away if they seen me? f*ck no. What is small to you? apparently its not worth pursuing justice when you get rip off by “small” amounts. Sounds like a great argument for taxation of the super rich doesn’t it.
If someone steals all your money how are you suppose to pay private police and private courts to recover your money?

Well, it may not be smart business. I see this all the time. I know people who make a couple grand a day. Someone rips them off for $500, it’s not worth calling a lawyer over. You take your lumps and move on, because the time (lost income) and money to recover the $500, must be low enough that it is worth it.
I am 100% on your side about justice. Really. But sometimes the most profitable way to deal with a loss is to know when the costs are sunk and to move on.
The rich pay taxes to keep the poor from overrunning their estates. They claw it back in privilege and monopoly anyway. The state doesn’t serve the little people, it serves the rich.
What would stop the state from ripping you off?
Some free market advocates are just as fanatical as socialist some of them think their won’t be any white collar crime whatsoever.To me thats foolish. But Under socialism there truly is no justice since the judge works for the criminal (the government).
Theoretically, in a market system you would probably be in one of two situations.

You would already have hired an insurance service to handle restitution.

You would offer a bounty for the recovery of your unlawfully stolen goods. Presumably some form of bounty hunter or A-Team would get your stuff back.
Could you provide some evidence of this? I’m sure it’s true on some scale, but it’s not the norm for sure.

Ya except that I’m not a detective so how can I prove somebody stole my stuff without police. I think the governments only role would be police and courts but apparently everybody here is a anarcho capitalist
