School lesson

Hi there folks!

I’ve been reading here here for some months now and posted a few times.

I’ve come to help me dismantle some peoples delusional state of mind of national economy.

But lets start at the beginning, at the moment I’m taking classes in Nature science (physics, mathematics and alike) but we also take social science and we just started with economy as a part of it.

Now we had a introduction where the teacher went true the diffrent parts of a society (houshold, state, companies and banks) now he also made and explanation what these diffrent parts did and so on.

Now he makes an example of how consuming stuff is driving the economy and I pointed out to him the flaws of that with the examples of lets say that we all just consume everything that we wouldn’t have anything left, and he agreed. Now the teacher aslo explained diffrent theories also as he tries to explain economy from as many views as possible, which he actually does a great job doing with so many people with diffrent ideologies. The teacher also gave me points as when I pointed out several flawess in all of them so I don’t think I have a chance to get a lower grade just because I vocalize my ideology or something like that so no holding back

Now in the aftermath of the lesson it was lunch but as out school system is financially underpaid as we are a government school we have lines of up to 20m and the price for finished food is kinda high where I go to school some of us stayed in the classroom continued the debate, or more like I was explaining to them and they wouldn’t listen. Now I agreed for a almost complete removal of the state, leaving only the police, justice system and military left. I didn’t actually vocolise are pure ideology a non state would be ideal but I need them to lisen sadly. That created outrage in the class when I said it. As we actually have 8 communist in my class… they are loosers who justify killing people for the greater good.. enough said.

Later i defined myself as a anarchycapitalist, but that is not entirely true, to me it really doesn’t matter if the state own the police, justice system or military as long as I’ve my rights, and truth to be told I have a much harder time to dissmantle the other stuff first as I live in Sweden. They spoke how a anarchocapitalist society wouldn’t work as it would lead to groups immediately and then we are back at capitalism.

And that to rather build a house you would get a gun and threat the one who has houses to get one. I have a hard time qoutering this one except with the argument that a homeowner wouldn’t really be defensless as he A) would have his own gun(s) B) defensive system (such as fence with electric system or something) C) hire a protector. But what stops the protector to take the house himself?

We also argued about taxes and they said that taxes is an agreement that you are a citixen of ‘X’ country therefor you pay ‘yz’ in taxes.

Then they also said that the only ones who start wars are companies… with there lobbyism (which I said wouldn’t exist as state and economy would be seperated just as state and religion)

They also claimed democracy to the best system which I thing is bungus as the minorities will be opressed and the only logical step was to inforce a republik with strong constitution.

One other “funny” thing they said that a capitalism society would leed to pre industrial society (look at sovjet, how good is it there?) but at that time I was just taken off-guard about all the unlogic so I didn’t answer that one.

Sorry if I rable but I’ve keep spacing around the diffrent topics and some might not be totally correct I know but it’s a start I guess.

Well, where to begin?

As we actually have 8 communist in my class… they are loosers who justify killing people for the greater good.. enough said.

So, while they have a problem with individuals threatening homeowners instead of building houses of their own, they do approve of killing people for the sake of the common good? How inconsistent is that?

Later i defined myself as a anarchycapitalist, but that is not entirely true, to me it really doesn’t matter if the state own the police, justice system or military as long as I’ve my rights

A monopoly on protection and justice will, ceteris paribus, continually decrease quality while increasing prices, especially if the monopoly has taxation powers and a monopoly on the initiation of violence. Your rights are in no way safe in a statist society; they are constantly threatened, and increasingly so as time passes.

They spoke how a anarchocapitalist society wouldn’t work as it would lead to groups immediately and then we are back at capitalism.

An anarcho-capitalist society will lead to capitalism. That’s quite a bold statement. What’s the point?

But what stops the protector to take the house himself?

Economic self-interest. Who would hire a protector with a known inclination towards expropriation and abusive behavior? He’d have to face lawsuits for such predatory behavior as well. Such an agency would likely not last long in a free market.

We also argued about taxes and they said that taxes is an agreement that you are a citixen of ‘X’ country therefor you pay ‘yz’ in taxes.

So, should you threaten a commie that you’ll beat him up if he doesn’t pay his “fair share” to you, that means he agrees to be a citizen of your estate?

Then they also said that the only ones who start wars are companies… with there lobbyism

You’re right that the state is the original problem here, not companies.

One other “funny” thing they said that a capitalism society would leed to pre industrial society

“Capitalism” comes from “capital”. Capital is the means to build more sophisticated and expensive tools that allow an enterprise to produce more efficiently which means more goods for a cheaper price. This alone allowed the progression from a dirt-poor rural yoke to where we are today.

While we’re at it, communism tends to use up existing capital structures (and very inefficiently as well), thus reversing the beneficial process enacted by capitalism. It’s funny that commies are claiming the exact opposite.
