Section 8 Apartments seem to be the new projects. Only much worse

they seem to be stealth in nature. (you could pass by them everyday and not know they are section 8. No signs…you have to go in to try and rent one to find out).

they seem to target upper middle class neighborhoods. (they have been popping up all around very nice neighborhoods in the Houston Area)

they usually look like luxury apartments (attached garage, tile and other high end materials are used outside and inside. This is probably another reason most people don’t know they are right next to their neighborhood.)
