If you are a beginner in the subject of (real) economics, like I am, you might find this link very helpful:
It is a study guide to “Human Action” by Mises. It is easy to follow and very interesting. Although I’ve spent years to graduate in business and economics, I’ve never even heard of “praxeology” at the university. And the definitions of praxeology is at the core of what you are asking for. It is, in my understanding, something like an arithmetic for human action, which IS economics. For this framework it doesn’t matter what is “measured empirically”. Any kind of empirical results can be used in the praxeological framework, like arithmetics can handle all numbers.
I’m not a philosopher, so please correct me if I’m wrong.
