How should sidewalks/pavements be funded in a libertarian society?
The same way that they are provided in private developments, strip malls, eta. If there is a demand for sidewalks then the free-market would have no problem providing them.

i guess companies would pave a footpath only in front of houses that have paid. People would have plenty of incentive to pay for it.
On a free market it would exist as long as there is demand for it.
Btw, in our current world its not ‘‘free’’. It seems free but your tax dollars pay for it. Government footpaths means less maintenance and higher prices.
