I like reading to gain knowledge and have a lot of books in my “to read” list. I want to speed that process up by learning to read faster. Does anyone here have any tips or sources that I can look up or maybe even complete courses that I can read and learn from? Anything that works really 
I recommend The Evelyn Wood 7 Day Speed Reading Program and Super reading Secrets by Howard Stephen Berg
Check out “Photo Reading” by Paul R. Scheele. Even without the photo reading concept itself the book will teach you some very easy techniques to double and triple your reading speed almost instantly without the long hours of practice most traditional speed reading requires.
I know my parents, when they were in school (a little while ago- they were born within a couple of months of the college I’m at being founded) had speed reading classes, and they said the teacher would have them read slides being run through an auto-advancing projector, with the left& right sides of the text covred with semi-trnsparent material, and advancing it at a rate faster than normal reading.
It was supposed to force them to read the center of the page, and skip and/the/or/but (etc.). Not sure how useful this was, but it was something…
