Story of my life, dude. I can’t go into a class without a teacher down-talking the free market in favor of European socialism. One of my teachers last year literally said to the entire 400-student class, “If you get into healthcare when you’re older, do it for FREE. Stop RAPING the United States. [5 second pause] Stop RAPING… the United States.” Most awkward moment ever.
reminds me of my Intro to Mechanical Engineering class (teacher said he would BRAINWASH us[ hopefully not, but supposedly into engineers- not his liberal LA persona])
but that “remember how lucky you are for being in America”- 1 in 4 US export dollars is to 3rd world nations, remember- only 1 in 4
to me, this is based on relative trade/production, etc- not that “we need to spend more there” (his idea)
“The more profits the better!”
This is an odd statement.
I would say: ‘no profits, the better! If achieved in a free market.’

Mention that some European countries outrank the USA on the Economic Freedom of the World index, like Luxembourg and Switzerland.
When paying for a class, it helps to try to learn something from it. You already know what you believe, and yet you’re driving her into a political debate. It would be best to not do that.
You would have to elaborate on what you mean here so there is no misunderstanding because this hardly makes any sense.
I had a democratic socialist phase in political science. My teacher was a minarchist Libertarian. I would try and argue the usual altruistic dogma but end up coming into agreement with her the entire time, except when she talked about the use of force against foreign countries to prevent terrorism. Other than that… well… Libertarians and socialists do come from the same cradle.
