I got the idea from the book Taxpayers in Revolt. By forming some kind of anti-tax organizations, we could possibly attract more and more people to the libertarian movement. We could provide specific examples of where to cut government spending, which taxes to cut first, etc.
I’ve been discussing this with some accountant friends and while possible it is really difficult. lord help you if the IRS takes an interest in you, the IRS ****s people over at will. They have far less restriction on their actions than regular police.
I’m not talking about going on tax revolts and strikes right away. I’m just talking about lobbying all levels of government for lower and less taxes. This could later on be a base to form tax revolts.
There are far more subversive mechanisms that can be utilized to achieve much of the same result without drawing unnecessary attention from the gestapo. But, because I’d rather not draw much attention, I will leave that for private discussions.

This seems like a good idea. I suppose one could, for example get together different groups who may have different issues with various taxes for specific reason, that may have nothing to do with opposition in taxation to general.
