The purpose was to post a new thread with several video pieces. I did that, and the thread immediately went for moderator approval…
Do you happen to know if that means it is lost in space forever and I should try to post the thread again, or will a moderator actually take care of it? For what it’s worth, I posted it in the General forum, and the warning after posting read something like “you have posted in a forum which requires moderator approval, await a response in your email.” I find it odd becuase this very thread right here was posted to the General forum, with a youtube video, and required no such approval. In fact, that was the first time I’ve encountered that… :\
That’s happened to me once and I don’t think it went through. Moderators usually check posts if they contain numerous links so that’s probably what dunnit. John James has a pretty informative post on all things relating to this forum. See “Posts requiring moderation.” This thread may also be helpful.
I’ve gotten similar messages, too. Messages like that can appear when one makes a lot of posts in a relatively short time. That’s why there are those messages where you have to read that hard to read phrase and copy it: the software is checking to make sure you’re not a spam bot.
And that’s all I have to say about that.
