The power of truth is so trans-formative and amazing. I never thought i would believe in god, or have the honor of calling myself a Christian, knowing in spite the world would think me a hypocrite simply because i curse, or like a dirty joke now and again. Knowing that my faith runs deeper than trivial word choice or other social distinctions.
It may sound strange to some that economics helped me find Jesus, but it did. It is my belief that every piece of truth i collected over the years of my life culminated to the my realization of oneness with Christ. It is with my most sincerest thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Mises.org for putting so much of this world into perspective for me. I was able to appreciate individualism for what it was, and the miracles of the free market. Austrian Economics to me is one of mans most holy creations.
The following video is my story of the harmful effects of big government on the free market. I may not be as well versed as many of you, i may use bad language, but i speak the truth, and i think my story has validity for our time.

I’d calm down a little on what appears to be the conspiracy theories, calm down do you really believe that there are people in the government who are saying “neh heh heh we shall create teh bubbles!” If so then you’ve passed through the respectable libertarian position to the expected crazy libertarian that doesn’t do anything to increase the way that the ideology is perceived
You don’t have to sound so mad, if you want to live up to your SN then okay sure, but you’d have a better rep if you were calmer about it, or only got pissed when you really displayed say, the “real life” stuff

^Nah man, the answer is much simpler then that. They don’t care. A government is too slow and inefficient to intentionally plan to screw over its citizens. It has no incentives to do better so it doesn’t, and it just does policies that sound good.

What you are saying is very true in part, but there are people in this world who control those who you speak of.
Please believe me, the road to salvation is a road to salvation, its a journey. You don’t do one thing and boom, the truth appears, you have to work at it. But it’s full of truth, and it’s as real as 1 + 1 = 2 , it is so worth it.

Trust me i know how gay that sounds, it took me a couple weeks after being saved to know that i actually loved my fellow man..
I think I understand the feeling you are talking about. I’m an atheist, but I have felt a huge “reorganisation of thought” and a rise of optimism when I started studying austrians. I understand things that are happening around me.
I do have a feeling that I “know the truth”. I try t o keep myself under watch to not be too convinced into anything, but the idea of liberty realy makes me optimistic.
It really does my heart good to read that AMatic. That “understanding of things going on around you”, that is you taping into that natural human connection we have to god. We just don’t use it much anymore. I know this will probably totally kill my creditability, but I’ll just say it.
When i had my come to Jesus moment, it was like knowing i was in the Matrix, gods matrix. It really is cool. When you try to control it to much it gets messed up and shit. Sinning screws it up, eating poorly screws it up.. Not getting any sleep screws it up, like basically sin screws it up. Being human is really hard to stay connected to god because we are basically sin machines.
So it motivates you to want to learn more about the bible, so you can be closer to god, so you can feel that connection more. The connection is like being in love, really it is being in love with god, as a hetro dude that messes with my head a little, but not so much now.
When i say learn about the bible, for me right now, its watching videos on the bible at http://amazingdiscoveries.tv because i can really see the truth of the bible when they put it into practical terms, and back it up with science. I use to be Atheist so i really like when the bible proves stuff with facts. The connection with god stuff just kinda comes naturally after that.
