The "A-B-Cs" of Communism

So I was feeling masochistic and decided to peruse the revleft forums (as one does…)

I noticed the following sentence in a post: “Maybe you should take a sabbatical from the flyers and leaflets thing and concentrate on studying your A-B-C’s of communism…”

The first thought that popped into my head was:

Yeah, A for Authoritarianism, B for Bureaucracy and C for Collectivism.

So I wondered what the folks here at LvMI think of when they consider the “A-B-Cs” of communism. [8-|]

I tried studying it but it is too hard as I have a lot of other things to be studying too and plus, understanding communism takes a lot of training in philosophy first.

What I think of is:

Materialist hegelianism-utopianism/anarcho-communist ownership-critique of capitalism/exploitation theory.

Always Be Collectivizing

Anarchism Beats Capitalism.

Man! I didn’t know this was going to be about acutal ABCs!

For me: Always-Been-Confusing

Anarchism Begets Capitalism

You keep talking past us. A great many of us are for anarchism because it allows for capitalism. Private property. Competition. Markets. Voluntary order.

Oh dear, please don’t turn my “have fun and mock communism” thread into a flame war.

Always

Be Civil

Comrades

What does that have to do with communism at all, then?

Actually, it allows for freedom, which is in slight conflict with capitalism, which is theft and slavery.

I’m happy to engage anyone and/or everyone here in a good ole’ fashioned anarchist v. “anarcho”-capitalist debate on the topic of liberty if someone wanted a thread for it.

How do you define “theft” and how do you define “slavery”?

Lol, IDK about a thread but a private conversation might be in order… But yes because participating in voluntary exchange is slavery and voluntarily consenting to being paid a certian amount is theft, that just makes sense.

Oh great, “anarchy means no hierarchal authority”.

You should first clarify whether you are an old troll with a new name or not.

I know that it is unusual to have a non-Austrian approach the forums and become an active member, but I think we should avoid accusing one another of being trolls, or calling each other cranks. “Leviathan” is obviously in a very difficult position (although, he does not seem daunted by the task set before him, of persuading so many Austrians to his position), and the situation has the chance of becoming explosive. I mean this as a suggestion, and only as a suggestion: any arguments between “Leviathan” and whoever else should remain civil and accusation-free. I think that all parties will profit the most from the exchange of ideas if this is the case.

No problem, Mr. Catalan, but he did kind of hijack my thread. He’s welcome to debate people about his ideas but he should start his own thread for that.
