The little things

There was a thread earlier about how EU regulations are preventing cameras from recording more than 29 minutes and 59 seconds. Anyone know of any other absurd cases like this, where regulations effect everyday life?

Just a few (in the US):

  • Low-flush-volume toilets
  • Shower heads which restrict outflowing water pressure
  • Upcoming ban on incandescent light bulbs in 2014
