I noticed that Rothbard wrote a two-volume book entitled “The Logic of Action”. Is this book a compilation of unrelated essays? If so, who compiled it? Does it contain any essays or works by Rothbard that the mises.org store does not sell?
I ask this question because this book sells for close to $300 on amazon.com and I do not see it on the store.mises.org page.

It looks like a collection of essays, search for the chapter titles and you might find many them free online. Apparently Hoppe and Gordon wrote the introductions. I might add that I can think of only one person who owns the pair of books (and he’s an academic).

Yeah, this book is outrageously expensive.

Indeed, I believe I first saw this book advertised in 2006! I think it’s Logic of Action plus a load of extra stuff.
Was wondering if it also included his unpublished essays on major philosophers (mentioned halfway down here: http://mises.org/events/109.)
David Gordon thought it would be done by 2007. This must be taking much longer than the LvMI expected.

Any news on this entry? I see Logic of Action is still expensive on Amazon and not on Mises store and Economic Controversies isn’t there either.
Both volumes are available at my school library. I’m going to check it out next week.

I’ll try to get it scanned by the end of next week. I have OCR Software and all, but doing this kind of thing isn’t my métier, especially since I have such a cheapo printer/scanner.
