I just joined this a couple days ago and I’m wondering if anybody else here in the NYC-area is a member or has heard about it or is interested in joining. We’re certainly a rare breed, it’d be great if this meetup picks up some steam. I saw some past attendances for their meetups and one was as high as 17 people.

Seriously though, this sounds really cool, and I would be totally on that if I was in NYC.
I have lived in NYC before and might be getting a job up there. Would certainly love to attend if I did move. Where do they have their meetings?

Your numbers are scarce, which is what accounts for it being disparaged as an “Internet ideology.” Never encountered any explicitly identified “anarcho”-capitalists IRL until I met Scott Horton and Angela Keaton last month. I did attend a meeting with members of the GMU economic society, though, so I probably interacted with some without knowing it.
If there is going to be a decent showing at the next meeting I’d be happy to commute to NY. I’ve never met another ancap before [8-|]
I RSVP’d, Its more like a 50-50 with me since its middle of the afternoon on Saturday which is my primary working time. If I miss it, I am sure I can make others no problem.
