Probably a coincidence of great ill minds thinking alike.
This is why this video had no shock value to me. They’re already advocating the killing of people through promoting poor economic policy. It’s often that I hear them say “there are too many people in the world!” …I’m pretty sure that’s just another way for them to say we have to start killing people. It’s about time a video like this came out and started showing their true colors.
Blown to bits or slow starvation. Why does one act deserve any more condemnation than the other?
Environmentalist policies require depopulation and radical control over the population. Just on the subject of food, even the most optimistic projections for “sustainable” food production could only feed around 4 billion people (and that’s an estimate from the Green movement). There are approximately 7 billion people in the world. What do they do with the extra 3 billion? In otherwords, just on the food side, every 3 out of 7 people are required to be eliminated in order to fulfill environmentalist objectives.
A logical conclusion is that environmentalists must step up the violence to meet their agenda. They aren’t meeting their goals through starvation, thanks to genetically modified foods that produce greater yields and countries who don’t follow their directives. They’ve made dire predictions, and lose credibility the longer their “solutions” are put off.
Peak food is fiction.
True if we are allowing for technology, but then the environmentalists have pushed for degrading the world’s ability to produce food by eliminating such technological advances. When taken to extremes, the limit on world food production could be reduced even lower than 4 billion.
Norman Borlaug, who I would say was a much more reasonable environmentalist (although attacked by environmentalists), claimed that we are fine if we permit the use of technology to increase yields. He cautioned, however, that if we try to revert to subsistence farming that billions would starve. Environmentalists have pushed for just such subsistence farming and outlawing the technology that keeps people fed today.
