In my Economics class, we have to read the first three chapters of The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman. I’ll bet that some of you here have read it. If so, what are your thoughts on it?
isnt it his thesis that we have telephones and the internet ?..

To be honest, yes it does. We’ve been going over some pre-reading material, including a MIT lecture he did, and three or more of his “flattening” factors involve computers and such.
This book isn’t exactly groundbreaking, I don’t know why the guy got so much attention for it.
