Some have suggested enacting a law requiring all legislation to be read aloud in full before being voted on.

I wouldn’t hold my breath.

That would certainly make it harder to read them aloud. [:P]

Having watched CSPAN for a total of 5 minutes I don’t think this would solve the problem. I haven’t seen so many people zoned out and asleep since I took high school American History. The proposed legislation would only compound that problem. On a positive note congress would not get nearly as much done but I would still be paying them to nap.
