I was wondering what an Austrian response to the following New York Times op-ed would be:
I struggle to understand how a gas tax is really going to help anyone in the long-term. I also bristle when he attacks Jeep-Dodge, although as a native of Detroit that probably explains it.

As for a gas tax, it seems like the typical response to tax something in an effort to make it look like something is being done.
