Will this extra cash help fix the house crisis and put us on the right track? Will this help out many people who are on the verge of foreclosure?
Are those rhetorical questions or do you want us to answer them?
I would like some answers. You seem to be the only person on here during the afternoon weekdays.
You are on the Mises Forums and ask will more money to the Fannie fix the housing crisis.
Simple answer: No it won’t. It will just stop the market correction. I suggest Tom Wood’s great book, Meltdown.
I want you to answer as if you were being interviewed on TV. If you had your 15 seconds on TV to tell the world your answer to that question, how would you answer?
The housing market is part of the market process. So, if the government gives $7.8 billion to Fannie Mae, then it is disrupting the market process, thus, not allowing the market process to statisfy the want of those in the market.
