In response to Texas introducing a bill that would criminalize TSA pat downs, TSA responds: “Texas cannot do anything to restrict TSA procedures because, as a federal agency it is protected under the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution.”

The TSA is absolutely correct although completely wrong. The “Supremacy Clause” only applies to CONSTITUTIONALLY AUTHORIZED POWERS of which the checking of the physical persons to get on an airplane or other mechanism for transportation or to prevent terrorism is clearly not listed. But that does not matter as I stated in the previous statement because:

I’d like to see what the Obama administration does if Texas refuses to comply. What are they going to do, send in the SWAT teams? Bring it on, punks. See how the public reacts to that. Most likely they’d cut off public funding, the proportion of which was stolen from Texans in the first place. First they steal your money and then let your government beg for it back.
Actually, the sad part is that most liberals won’t care what happens to Texas because it is “Texas, Land of the Tea-Baggers.”
