U.S. government analogy

Here is my analogy of the U.S. government: For a pro-government person to be consistent, they would have to agree that it would be OK for me to open a grocery store, then set arbitrary geographical limits of something like everyone within a 10 mile radius has to pay me for their groceries. I will let them all vote for who gets to be in management, but only those that are over 17 years old gets to vote. Then management gets to decide what food everyone gets and how much everyone has to pay for it.

WHO WOULD EVER AGREE TO SUCH A LUDICROUS IDEA?
