I have a poster design I would really like to see across the UK. Getting that done would cost thousands or even millions. But there may be ways of doing it, perhaps on a lesser scale, in a grass roots manner.
First you have to agree with the idea. Second you have to like the poster. If these are good and you would like to help in any way please contact me.
I can’t read the text. I am American so have no clue what this is about too. Still if you want to post up the 2d base image of the 3 guys and the text that is supposed to be there, I will be happy to make it legible for you.
It might be more economical (and thus more effective from a grassroots perspective) if this could be made smaller, similar in scale to something like movie posters. People would then be able pin them up all around their neighborhoods.
Yes, and even at my favored 1600x1200 it was still partially unintelligible when I scroll-zoomed with my browser. I guess I could save it and open photoshop and use some special tools I have to try to decipher it… or you could just relay what the sign says. I guess you want to reproduce the message in this photograph, and it is not a mockup. Are the 3 guys the candidates of the 3 major parties in the UK? Sorry, I follow your politics about as much as I follow my own nation’s.
@Justin: Yes of course. That is what I had in mind. I think you saw the post that was a mock up of what a billboard poster would look like. The one immediately below that shows the poster by itself and could be made any size.
Clicking copy image location in your browser then the filmstrip icon to insert media saves us all the hassle, just for your edification, no worries.
These politicians look a bit pudgier than they need to be. Tighten them up and they will fit on an 8.5x11 letter flyer. The text needs a larger scale and more contrast. You can save money, if you are serious about canvassing this, by keeping it greyscale and scribbling the party colours by hand on each sheet I guess.
Okay. Would you care to give an example? I would like the wording to be punchier if possible without changing the meaning. The current wording would get huge agreement. I’ve shown this to a lot of people who are not libertarian and they have all smiled or laughed in recognition of the truth of it.
