It’s from 1984 but does a good job of explaining Marxist/Trotskyite attitudes on global revolution and their tactics. I have a whole new perspective on environmentalism, socialism and dumbing down through public education.

It’s not specific to economics, but it is very insightful into how business is done by an authoritarian state.
