Non Sequitur there. Yes, humans are often dependant on eachother, they trade, etc. You might even make the case that social organization is nessecary to civilization, but that does not follow that there is an obligation.
Furthermore, I’m not sure what thier point about “water is made of atoms” is supposed to be. That implies that society is indeed simply a mass of individuals, and the perception of a collective “society” is in fact just the combined outcomes of millions of individual forces. You “see” water but what you really see is simply a mass of quarks and other elementary particles in a certain configuration.

Fallacy of collective terms. You can’t do anything to society, because society is an abstraction. An abstraction can not be harmed or benefited, you can only take care of people.
If you threw a nuke on a major city, would you have hurt society? No, you wouldn’t. Nothing you do can change an abstraction.
