What does “collective bargaining rights” even mean?
I have been trying to find the full text of the bill unsuccessfully. Usually these things are pretty easy to find with google, but in this case I have just been able to get pages and pages of political garbage.
I was wondering the same thing. I’m still a bit confused on what this bill does exactly, but from this video it seems that public union members now have the choice to pay dues to the unions and the voters have the choice of whether to increase salaries at higher rates than inflation.
Collective Bargaining is employees negotiating pay, working conditions, and other agreements. From my understanding the bill wants to make heavy cuts in public education spending and abolish Collective Bargaining priviledges.
