What kind of jobs would there be in an anarchist world?
All the same ones now minus government jobs and the building of war machines.

The government jobs would largely be replaced by free market equivalents. Building of war machines would not necessarily stop, it would just slow down drastically. There is still value in them for studying, aesthetics, and amusement, as well as possible other (hopefully) non-coercive applications.
I think the most significant job creation we would see would be private defense and insurance, followed by jobs in the automation industries.

I think that there would be a larger variety of jobs of all sorts due to the huge amount of competition and large workforce. I think that entertainment and electronics industries of all sort would also increase in popularity, availability, and number because those are some of the places where people really want new stuff. Transportation could also be very big… All in all I think that service industries would become much larger and production industries would increase slightly.

I think there would be a big change in the banking industry, as well as health care, automotive, airline, education, and road maintenance. It will be so kick ass there could be services we don’t even know about yet.

I imagine there’d be a need for camp guards: how else would an anarcho-capitalist society eliminate the statist menace from existence? In fact, there would be a considerable need for soldiers and policemen, in general, to contain the spread of statist ideology(ies). There would also be a demand for teachers and historians to re-write the past as one long struggle towards glorious an-capism. A propaganda ministry would also need to be staffed to prevent statist thoughtcrimes and enforce complete uniformity of thought throughout the various communes, towns and cities of this an-cap society… lest a family of statists disappear into the wilderness and return years later at the head of a massive army of cheap mass-produced tanks and millions of angry and impressionable peasant soldiers. Thus this an-cap society would assume a permanent state of war against the rest of the world, ostensibly to ‘keep them [the citizens] on their toes’ and prevent the culture and manhood getting too soft.
Additionally, there would be a new libertarian church, so priests who could recite Man, Economy and State and Human Action by heart, for starters, would be needed too.
How else would you ensure a thousand years of the perfect society?
