I have been looking into history and the beginnings of tyranny in America. Which leads me to my question: When did American’s freedoms first begin to disintegrate? Following the elimination of the Articles of Confederation? After the War between the States? I have heard a conspiracy theory that the United States Constitutional Convention was infiltrated by European bankers and the country was doomed from the start – is this crazy?
After researching true history, I have that sickening feeling that everything I have been taught with regards to American history has been horribly wrong[+o(]

Well, it seems there must be something really wrong with a ‘free society’ which considered slavery a legitimate activity. Also, America was founded by politicians who wanted their own government. The revolution was not about freedom, but about local control.
read ideological originas of the american revolution. the founding fathers were power hngry and populism provided an avenue for power. from hamilton on out it was clear that there would be a reckoning between states rights and federal rights at some point…from the civil war on out the states were eviscerated of rights. the removal of individual rights has been ongoing ever since in the form of constitutional law legal precedent.
