Why don't I hate the Government?

Lets just make it clear that I hate the IMF. The U.S Foreign policy is fucking horrible, but nobody will change it. It will never change. Ron Paul won’t get elected, and Obama is going to continue the war in pakistan.

Were you born yesterday?

There’s plenty of information on this here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Ghraib_torture_and_prisoner_abuse

God dammit your right. And in order to keep my human dignity, I must depart from this world. Peace and Love to everyone who’s mind’s still have free will.

How is this Genocide though? These are the interrogation techniques they use from what I gather.

What the fuck? Why is it necessary for the U.S to do this? And its only one branch of the military isn’t it?

So whats your problem? The US has almost 3x as much ownership as anyone else in the IMF. If that’s not bad enough, we also have USAID which is basically the same thing.

So just because it won’t change does that mean you’re okay with the USG? You basically said you’re vanilla-ing out in the OP…

Actually this picture looks pretty tame. He clearly isn’t starving and still has all his teeth. Compared to what I know of some torture techniques this guy is looking better than I thought he would…

Do you guys remember that scene from In the Name of the Father about the framing of irish immigrants for terrorism? The british cops are trying to force a confession out of the main character and they stick a loaded gun inside his mouth. What really happened was that the gun was forced into his mouth and moved around breaking all his teeth…

I’m not a statist, but I want to see this thesis proved by an actual Historian/Economist/Political Philosopher. My point in the OP was, the U.S Government does not treat its citizens as tyrannical as other Governments in history. I can’t empathize on the same emotional level as others since I have only lived in the U.S. Compared to other countries, the U.S Government’s treatment of its citizens are not nearly as bad.

A statist society full of ghandis and mother teressas would be better than an anarchy of cannibals.

Not yet anyway. And yes it has treated people as badly as the worst governments of history it just doesn’t do it to people it calls its citizens. To say the US is acceptable simply because it doesn’t point the gun at people called “American” is borderline racist (nationalist).

How am I supposed to develop an emotional attachment unless I have met someone from another country who experiences struggles? Its just natural.

You’re using the lesser of two evils argument. The lesser of two evils is still evil.

“Civil” War was a massive death by government operation.

And all the people in the US who have been drafted and killed. Like Vietnam.

More recently, Waco. And those who died on 9/11 died cause their government was screwing around overseas.

But are all of the Governments intentions for evil? I say at least the GOP is. However, the Democrats just seems to be ignorant, and do what the people want, but use the wrong solutions to the wrong problems without thinking that it might excacberate the problem. I don’t think the Democrats are evil, but they never know what they are talking about. My entire family supports Universal Health Care, and the Democrats are favoring it because its what the majority of U.S citizens want, and they have the idea that its flourishing in other Countries. However, they ignore that the problem was previously intervention in the first place. I’ll never understand why, its as if Liberals never take a look at History and Economics.

The victims at Waco and Ruby Ridge would disagree.

Additionally, I’d like to say that, even without the state. Establishment would be replaced by Established Religion. I haven’t seen this discussed much on here, but Religion was the beginning of “evil”, churches motivated the masses into killings and heinous rituals. Religions were the ruling power before a centralized Government.

My aunts and uncles justify the War in Iraq for religious reasons, they were all Bush lovers for religious reasons. So, it didn’t start with Centralized Governments, it started with Established Religion.

So why hate the IMF? Stop contradicting yourself, airhead.

What is the context of this picture? Is this from Abu Ghraib?

What if we had a Minarchy? The Government under the limitations of the U.S Constitution, would it still be evil then? If Ron Paul was president? I haven’t seen anything disproving that its the decisions of Government that make it evil, not that it would be evil under a benevolent evil or is evil by nature. Under a Minarchy, we would have a non-internvention foreign policy.

You didn’t make an argument for or against anything. All you really said is “the government is so bad at what it does that I don’t mind it”. It doesn’t matter “how bad” the Patriot Act is, it is simply a violation of rights.

It was in the news for months almost everyday and still continues to pop up from time to time years after you idiot. Sorry but your whining posts grow old. What is liberty? Do you even know?
