The WHO has given statistics that give the conclusion that america pays more for healthcare, and gets less quality of it when compared to countries like the UK. How does one respond to such statistics?
By pointing to Tony Blair’s brown tooth.
Aside from wondering how they define “quality”…
Our system is, in a word, trash.
Everything is tremendously over-regulated, including the fact that there’s no free-market in pricing (for the care itself or for the insurance). However, it’s still a for-profit system. That’s always a bad combination! Greed is good when it forces people to companies to compete for customers, but greed is bad when it allows companies to take advantage of red-tape to screw over customers.

One can challenge them (they often omit many details), and demonstrate the flaws in countries like the UK and other socialized systems (John Stossel has done a good job of this.) Or one can refuse to defend a corporatist-socialist system against fully socialist ones, and argue that both are morally evil and economically useless.
This is easy: Stop paying money to and listening to the WHO until they stop getting money stolen from the citizens of the world and start getting their money given to them freely. I would listen to their INCORRECT ASSESSMENT (John Stossel has a rebuttal to this.) but since they get their money from governments who steal it from the respective citizens then the whole thing is crap.
The WHO has every reason to down play the US medical system as they are simply promoting socialism.
Unfortunately there are significant problems with the health care system in the US. Not a single one is from the free market and the others are results from the over-regulated, semi-socialized system the US has in place today.
I agree. The WHO obviously is going to discredit any country which does not embrace complete socialism. Afterall, they would have to compete with other companies as a credible source of information if the tax dollars of the world did not grant them a monopoly in the field.
