Interesting article, especially about Somalia. I suppose Zimbabwe’s currency is the worst. Every now and then, The Economist talks about Mugabe’s destructive economic policies.
I wonder why argentina’s peso is missing from that list ?
Argentine Peso? What about the US dollar? All of these currencies are measured against that pillar of stability: the US dollar. It would be worse if you meansured them against gold or the number of barrels of oil their currency can purchase. In these measurements the US dollar is not stable as the Fed has doubled the amount of currency in the past 7 years.
