Guild socialism is just one kind of socialism. Socialism isn’t defined as worker-ownership of the means of production; it’s government ownership of the means of production.
Well the car companies, insurance companies, and banks are owned by the representatives of the electors of the USA, so that’s as good as socialism for me.
the word socialism means socialized- socialized property. in the cases you mentioned these things are socialized. technically speaking, all types of gov’t means socialism- since the people’s property is under the soveirnty of the gov’t and not absolute.
