Agorism activity

This thread has confirmed my suspicions that agorism is basically Voodoo. The only way to challenge the government’s monopoly is to challenge the government’s monopoly, that is to say set up a competing provider of protection that can fight off the government’s attempt to destroy it.

Tell that to Zimbabwe.

Last I heard the opposition in Zimbabwe was still trying to conquer the state, not to compete with it.

No you brought up the level of productivity. I was asking why identical transactions by one person would not have the same effect as the actions of an agorist. You introduced the idea of greater productivity. As you may recall, I further clarified my example by requesting agorists examine the effects of a single transaction on undermining the state.

Oh, so now it is a million man army we are talking about. It is hard to keep up with the continual changes.

You think the NLM is a plan…you have a lot to learn about planning.

The Prince was about gaining and maintaining power. It wasn’t really related to ideology.

That’s not what I was meaning.

Zimbabwe recently had its paper supply shut off and it’s running out of paper to print its money on. Since it’s currency is so devalued, the only way it can maintain its monopoly is by printing money and paying off its military. But now that they cant make new wealth, they have nothing of value to pay the soldiers.

You don’t need to create a competing defense agency. Once the government’s supply on funds is gone, it doesn’t last long.

It effectively denies the state 40-50% of the net transaction (the range is depending on where you live).

So why is it still around then? And what’s going to replace it?

Weren’t you the one talking about black markets overthrowing the state? So does the counter-economy have the ability to overthrow the state or not?

I quoted your own SEK3 on this matter and he disagrees with you. Is he wrong?

So in the world of agorist having time-tables for accomplishing things are unimportant…ok.

Nobody apparently knows who these people are. If you engage in an activity and it has no effect on anything…can we really count that as building alliances and counter-economic activity.

This would be true of all counter-economic activity and not just the counter-economic activity of agorists…correct?

Irrelevant. Productivity is an effect of an action, you don’t want to accept this? Fine, you’re just an idiot then.

You think the market only settles for single transactions? Fine, you’re just an idiot then. The market is a process. This is why we MBA students use exponential growth or decay, you idiot.

[8-)]

Yet you haven’y even read it.

Ideology is a part of that, you idiot.

Did you not read that one either.

You used “idiot” 3 times. That is a sign that you are losing. You should be able to defend your position in an argument without resorting to personal attacks.

That said, I have The Prince in front of me and will leave it near my computer. If you have been posting sincerely, I would expect you have no problem point ing out where ideology comes into play? Please do.

You’ve got a habit of posting to me when I am in the thick of it with BP or Nicky. I don’t have a problem with you posting to me, but I cannot understand why you continue to give your ideological comrades a free pass on what is obviously a weakness, if not total hypocrisy, in their position. You’re a clever man, you can spot the truth.

As far as the rest of what you posted, you’ll have to re-post anything specific that requires an answer.

I’d appreciate your response to ML’s question at

You’re so repetitive.

Yes, and I read your two-stage thread, and it makes a lot more sense than what is being promoted here as Agorism.

To be precise, I’m not sure Agorism is voodoo, but how it is sold here, by many individuals who neither practice it, nor can explain it’s difference in effectiveness from any other black market activity, makes it seem really far out.

I don’t doubt it gives you pleasure. It is childish, and you have a childish mentality, because despite your leather jacket and tough guy gloves, you’re still a kid. In school, living off Mom and Dad. To expect you to behave and respond like an adult was irrational on my part. I thought you were in your 20s, I didn’t realize you are just a teenager.

As far as suicide bombers, Ron Paul has you beat on this (and many other things, of course he is a man, not a child). Dr. Robert Pape runs the University of Chicago’s Suicide Terrorism research group, and has written a book about the reasons for suicide terrorism. You, like the neocons misunderstand it.

And to compare Agorism to suicide terrorism just highlights what a magical and fantastic world you live in, where everything is done for glory and heroism. On the contrary, people conduct suicide terrorism as an act of desperation, out of total frustration, they are willing to sacrifice their lives to be free.

Coming from you, a child, who gladly lives under the watch, care and security of others, then tries to be some sort of radical revolutionary, yet lacking any blue collar or working class credibility is now expected, but still disappointing.

Maybe when you develop some class, responsiblity and genuine life experience, someone might take you seriously when you talk about suicide resistance and martyrdom.

This is the image that comes to mind for me while reading this.

Well, if it comes to Ron Paul, I’d rather be a child than a racist xenophobe!

As for Robert Pape, he discovered that suicide bombers were being paid to blow themselves up and were not instead doing it out of an abstract desire of revenge centered on a valid us vs. them mentality? Interesting. I’ll have to read that, but I’m not sure these suicide bombers understand teh profit then… I would think they’d be too dead to enjoy the millions of dollars in payment for killing themselves.

Oh wait… After doing a quick google search, it seems that you’re again wrong. Robert Pape agrees with me that the motivation is ideological and abstract, not profit based.

I like that you didn’t explain it though, nice attempt at a snipe. Also, terrorism was not used as a synonymous strategy to Agorism. It was used as the ultimate example of sacrifice and what motivates it - which isn’t profit.

Again, I don’t live with my parents though and I make my own money. They pay for my education, but I assumed that was what parents were supposed to do, at least good ones. Sorry yours sucked! I personally love mine. Funny though. Even when my father went to prison we had more than you. Refer to the Joker there.

Except I personally live off of it, have provided examples, and have showed you the differences.

Nice try though.

But you have not undermined the state at all. The Italian state is as powerful as ever, if not more so. All you have achieved is enriching yourself through the black market, which crooks have done for centuries.

You do realize that sending in military is a sign of weakness right?

Apparently not.
