Ann Coulter vs Jerry Springer, 01-10-09, 7:00 pm Central

On Fox News, Coulter and Springer debate. Should be interesting.

The Tolbert Report

It should be a fun night of television this weekend when Mike Huckabee has guests Ann Coulter and Jerry Springer on his Fox News Show on Saturday night at 7:00. Coulter was not a Huckafan back during the Presidential primary season comparing him to President Jimmy Carter (which is about the worst thing you can a Republican.) Ann Coulter made headlines earlier this week when she was reportedly banned for life from NBC for her criticism of Barack Obama in her new book “Guilty” which lead to a funny exchange with Matt Lauer when she appeared on NBC’s Today Show on Wednesday morning (see video below.) With Jerry Springer on hand, we can only hope this breaks out into a full on-stage brawl. The only question is what will the crowd chant - Jerry or Huckabee. Either one works.

These two also debated the war in Iraq and domestic policy on CNN about 6 years ago.

Coulter vs Springer, CNN Transcript

Coulter is a kook who characterize evolution as “bogus science” as one of the “ideological” basis of liberalism.(I don’t know about liberalism but WTF?) I don’t know about Jerry Springer though.

I am not sure what make them so interesting beyond the fact that they’re kooks and nutcases.

Indeed. I find Coulter to be more entertaining than the other trolls with paychecks though. In the end, they’re all the same (which is why the Onion News can seem so real sometimes… because it is parodying a bunch of clowns.)

For some reason I feel less intelligent when I hear her speak.

Coulter is the epitome of the Big Gov Neo-Conservatism aka those who want to tell others how to live their life.

Is she for big government though? Wasn’t she against the bailouts etc.?

The Onion News is the political version of Poe’s Law.

She’s for big government when it comes to your personal life and the military, though tends to be decent on economic matters.

LOLOLZ

She is crazy but she does speak her mind, I saw one speach where she was critisizing gay marriage on the grounds that two men cannot love one another or something like that, and a reporter in the crowd stood up and said something along the lines of, “And your four divorces were out of love?”

It was hilarious.

I couldn’t stay married to her for more than a month!

make that a week

That implies you would marry her in the first place

ewwww

Apparently, she’s never been married. I didn’t think she had. I like reading her books and hearing her go after libs, but definitely don’t always agree with her. Here’s a wiki piece on her personal life and lack of 4 marriages:

Coulter has been engaged several times, but never married.[11] She has dated Spin founder and publisher Bob Guccione, Jr.,[12] and conservative writer Dinesh D’Souza.[13] In October 2007, she began dating Andrew Stein, the former president of the New York City Council, a liberal Democrat. When asked about the relationship, Stein told the paper, “She’s attacked a lot of my friends, but what can I say, opposites attract!”[14] On January 7, 2008, however, Stein told the New York Post that the relationship was over, citing irreconcilable differences.[15]

Coulter owns both a condominium in Manhattan and a house, bought in 2005, in Palm Beach, Florida. Although she says that usually she lives in New York, she votes in Palm Beach and is not registered to do so in New York.[16] She is a fan of the Grateful Dead,[17][18] and some of her favorite books include The Bible, Wuthering Heights, Anna Karenina, true crime stories about serial killers and anything by Dave Barry.[19]

Hey, I read serial killer books too! Not so much anymore, but I used to have a big collection. I’d date her! [8-|]
