Does it make sense to think of consumers as producers?
When I live in a house, the house is a factor in the production of comfort.
When I eat an apple, the apple is a factor in the production of satiety.
Are consumers in some sense the highest order of producer, because they are closest to the production of the ultimate good: the wellspring of action, pleasure, a.k.a. the removal of felt uneasiness.
No, I think it’s just confusing. Humans consume. Humans can also produce.
Hmm, I think the most you could say is that the human body can be thought of as a piece of capital equipment, though one different from every other kind of capital equipment because its ownership cannot be transferred.

Many different ways are possible to categorize the universe we see before us. Some are more useful than others.
If you find that categorizing consumers as producers of pleasure leads to further insights in understanding our world, knock yourself out.
Traditionally economists look at it this way.
Think of a huge pile of goodies.
Some people take away from the pile and make whatever they took disappear. They make the pile smaller. They are called consumers, meaning to destroy, to burn.
Some people add to the pile, making it bigger. They are called producers.
