Here’s a video of what seems to be a senile, half-smiling, clueless old man on a wheelchair being harassed and abused in Chile by an angry man with a video camera after arriving at an airport. The old man has no idea what is being said to him and vacantly says, “Hello.” Baseless charges are levied against him, because he once had connections to a Chilean newspaper company, from what the description says.
Everybody congratulates him for such hostile behaviour in the comments.
Paranoia about billionaires is such that many seem to think, “He must have done dirty things and killed people to get there.” I know it’s not jealousy of wealth, but it’s a part of our gossip culture.
It’s amazing how nonchalant Rockefeller and his posse are, especially considering all the harm the guy with camera could have done. Btw, that’s a nice Mercedes.
Prateek, do some research on David Rockefeller’s own claims before you pronounce him innocent. It’s your particular ignorance on this topic that is the issue, not necessarily the people condemning Rockefeller.
As an aside, I anxiously await the day you stop making knee jerk posts and harness what is obviously a superior capacity for intelligence to promote good ideas rather than attack the actions or beliefs of others.

Educate me, then. What people has Rockefeller killed or by a complicit act helped kill? Believe me, right after I saw that video, I did a quick check through the usual (but not always reliable) sources - Google and Wikipedia, and they showed nothing significant. And then I even checked the Infowars website, and searched “David Rockefeller”, with the worst charge being his typical rich guy complaint about overpopulation. Books on Amazon merely had descriptions of him being a former spy, an owner of a rapid rising bank, and an arbitrator between some world leaders. After this rudimentary check, I made this topic.
I knew of David Rockefeller, because he was mentioned in this forum as a student of Friedrich Hayek in university and a supporter of the Austrian School’s ideas. Not that it would absolve him of any wrongdoings, but that’s just how I first came to know of him.
As for the one who just quoted his memoirs, those are only the terrible things that von Mises and Bastiat were guilty of, since they wanted to dissolve disputes between nations through free trade, financial globalization, and making war too expensive to conduct without losing millions of dollars of revenue abroad. (Some conservative websites even blast the two for being “One Worlders”, although they were a patriotic Frenchman and a patriotic German.)
His family and his individual both have very close ties to the World Bank, the IMF, Bilderberg, the CFR, and the Trilateral Commission. That’s true about von Mises and Bastiat, but everything Rockefeller says and does seems to support the thesis that he actually wants a one-world government. Not in a conspiracy-sounding sort of way, but he may actually believe that is what is best.
I assumed the question was rhetorical. He didn’t kill anyone. What I’m saying is that he isn’t just an innocent rich person. He’s technically innocent, but the fact that he wants a one-world government is probably the thing to which the cameraman was alluding.
David Rockefeller is a bad guy, not because he is “conspiring” against the U.S. Constitution and America, but because he is a political entrepreneur and not a market entrepreneur.
David Rockefeller did not kill people directly, but indirectly he kills a lot of wealth (and thus lives) as the man funds collectivist campaigns in order to profit from the financing and the resulting political power.
In some way I respect him more than the average socialist though. At least he’s actually profiting from big government, and he’s not a hipocrite about it.
He understands praxeology/entomology AND knows the key players. I’d pay good money for an honest chat with him about how the world works.
