He studied under Hayek in the 1930s and claims to be a follower of the Austrian School[:^)]. This only seems to boggle my mind, as far as I knew David Rockefeller has been associated with influential organisations I deemed have only done harm on the world; like the Bilderberg group and the Trilateral Comission.
I do not believe all the accusations made about the whole “New World Order” agenda, but I am certainly concerned about many of them. I certainly did not consider him an ally of the free market or individual liberty.
Do you think Rockefeller be one of those who truly understands economics, but promotes bad policies and ideologies to maintain his own self interests?

A link would be nice. This could pose some potential problems for the Austrian school of thought with people like David Rockefeller giving it a bad name. He seems to be promoting the exact opposite policies of the austrian school. I wonder at what point did he break from the school. We need to delve into this history a bit more and perhaps we might understand his motivations more for wanting a new world order and the sort.
I dont know what this particular Rockefeller has done, but I personally wouldn’t dismiss him as evil out of hand. Maybe he has something positive to say.
I would counter that argument by saying that a lot of people who are evil don’t always have bad things to say. The Rockefeller family was a forerunner and staunch supporter for the central bank. David Rockefeller knows tons of elites around the globe… and his family knows the emperor of Japan. You should watch the David Rockefeller interview by Benjamin Fullord, if, you can find that on the internet. It’s a bit revealing about what Rockefeller thinks… it’s kind of lame, but, it does get to an important point about how well connected his family is.
Alan Greenspan was an Austrian, he studied under Mises. Don’t judge people according to what groups they belong to, judge them by their actions. Wanting to understand economics, that is, real economics, does not make you a good person. I think the conspiracies say that he was an important player in the creation of the FED?
Wow, I didn’t know Greenspan was a student of Mises! So every public statement he’s made since around the 60s has been a total lie?! It’s hard to fathom such people, furthering the case for a conspiracy here.
I agree with you, just a little extra about David Rockefeller: His family and the Rothschilds are responsible for the Fed’s creation, but the guy himself was born 2 years after its creation, so didn’t have a role to play there.
Don’t call them conspiracies. Learn the true history of the federal reserve. If you read a book here- it’s titled The Case Against the Fed by Rothbard himself (I believe) he even talks about the Rockefellers and their role with the Morgan family on Jekyll Island in creating the federal reserve.
Also, a lot of people can be honest before they enter an organization- and- abandon their principles after they leave it. I believe that Allen Greenspan spoke about gold or so- if I know correctly- before he went about using the same failed policies of the central bank that caused the great depression, or, just being ignorant of what power the central bank has. A lot of people may seem like they’re not bad people when they are associated with certain groups on the outside but do you really think that anyone that wants global enslavement, or, who wants world control could be a good person? I believe that the group we are change exposed David Rockefeller and showed on like page 405 of his book or so how he wanted a new world order… and… David Rockefeller said it himself that he wants the nations to come together, but, he doesn’t want a new world order for the people. You shouldn’t pity people for their actions once they’ve already made them, as, in the case of Allan Greenspan or David Rockefeller. They know what they did. David Rockefeller created the trilateral commission… and he was also the director of the council of foreign relations in 1949. David Rockefeller- even if the conspiracies aren’t true- was a major player in world affairs… and… yeah. I could go on and on about this stuff. But yeah.
The conspiracy theories about David Rockefeller are about his involvement with such secretive groups like the trilateral commission, the council on foreign relations, and the bilderburg group. We know that his family was involved with the creation with the fed… but… it’s more that what he did after that which is why people are so interested in him. Think of David Rockefeller as the 2nd Henry Kissinger- or- a guy with that power- knowledge- but yeah, he’s kind of like that.

You’re right. Governments around the world- heads of state- people running government aren’t inherently evil and they really love us!! The council on foreign relations is a good thing for humanity, and, it makes no difference to us that hundreds of elites without us knowing about us in the bilderburg group!! Secrecy is good… yeah. I guess the things you’re pointing out are current events like; increasing the powers of the fed, the atrocious food bill just passed, and the recent cyber security act? I agree. As much as 9/11 was an outrage and needs a real, independent investigation, there are far more pressing current concerns to address.

Just because I happen to think that, for instance, CFR really is just a boring discussion forum, and that nothing really major goes down there, doesn’t mean I wouldn’t like to know more about what happens there as well. But, really. If you want real conspiracies, just turn on Drudge Report. The real conspiracies are all over the news, because the real conspirators know that the American public is too stupid to realize they’re being had. The real conspirators don’t need to do anything in secret. They’re skillful enough to convince the populace that the conspiracies they’re carrying out are in the populace’s own interest.
I wasn’t twisting your words at all. In fact I pay very much attention to what else is going on around the world, and, what’s happening right now. My reason for mocking that argument was simple: you simply seemed to just dismiss it as heresay, so, and you basically painted me, and other people who honestly spend their time researching conspiracy theorists as spending their time looking at something that isn’t there. That isn’t what people are doing. I don’t consider myself a conspiracy theorist. I am a truth-seeker. The reason why I look to these groups is because they have all the powerful people there. If you look behind them, see their members, you will see that they have all the power in government basically and in governments around the world. I was mainly criticizing you for your unwillingness to accept that such groups do have a lot of power. For instance you called the CFR bullshit. Have you ever looked into these organizations? Do you know who goes there? And it seemed like you just spent a lot of effort into trying to smear one group of people- with- something you seem to know little about. Usually movements like 9-11 truth take off because a lot of events around it are justified- like US imperialism now- because of 9-11- and we want our imperialism to end. Have you ever spoken to a serious person who seriously researched conspiracy theories before? How do you think they would react to your comment? If you google online right now you’ll actually see that a lot of so called conspiracy theorists are attacking the issues of today… mainly the cyberbulling act, and, the economic stimulus plan.
Do you even know what these groups do when they meet in secret? I don’t. You don’t know. We don’t know how powerful they are. That’s the main reason they’re being targetted. I just feel that you’re being a little dismissive of them. I don’t know that much about what they do. If they’re really not so evil groups- than- they should be more open about what they do. Why arrest journalists who try to get the inside scoop of their organizations that are close- there were quite a lot of journalists who got arrested at the bilderburg meetings earlier this year… so if they aren’t evil why do they do that? Why do they require so much privacy?
I attack fruitless bullshit conspiracy theory movements because they’re fruitless bullshit. Screaming and sign waving about the CFR and 9/11 Truth won’t accomplish one single thing other than making libertarians seem wacky. Something like getting your Senator onto the Federal Reserve Sunshine Act, on the other hand, might accomplish something.
If it weren’t for the fact that I had to work with a conspiracy theorist knucklehead who blabbed at me about 9/11 Truth and the CFR nonstop for a whole year, I’d just dismiss your inquiry as to whether I knew any conspiracy theorists in real life to be absolutely irrelevant (which it is). I honestly don’t care if I hurt any 9/11 Truther’s feelings. I can’t possibly do any more damage to their ego than they’re doing to the libertarian movement.
