Title says it all: What is the best book to convert a left-wing libertarian or anarcho-communist?
It seems to me to be a special type of insane that would drive a person to be a left-wing libertarian or anarcho-communist.
The Triumph of Conservatism by Gabriel Kolko is a good one. Kolko is an anti-capitalist lefty, which makes it even better.
I believe they value primitivism, since they can’t really benefit all that much from the division of labor, and they face the calculation problem. Usually, these arguments fall on deaf ears. It seems they are more concerned with realizing some kind of left-wing anarchy as a goal in itself.
Conversion is too complex and needless a task for “Left wing libertarians” or “Anarcho-communists”. You’d BOTH win in the absence of the state. They could live out their weird tribal fantasies(Obviously not how you’d frame it), and you could live in anarcho-capitalism.
