Proxies are pretty weak if you want any serious kind of anonymity. The best you can hope for, is to stack proxies (which would be incredibly slow) or to use a very public VPN (hide in a crowd). Regardless, anyone with even modest talent should be able to track down 999,999 out of a million surfers if they get access to network logs.
