Book available? Energy: The Master Resource

I’ve searched via the Literature tab, and it appears that Energy: The Master Resource is not available as a free PDF. Can anyone verify this?

Also, what are the criteria a book must meet before it is made available for free?

Are there any other sources (whether blogs, articles or books) one can recommend for energy research? Not necessarily research into energy, but about energy policies and how government helps or hurts energy production.

I’m not sure if this is the sort of thing you’re looking for, but The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money & Power is a pretty exhaustive history of oil, including governmental policies and their results, and quite readable, if hefty. If your book budget doesn’t cover it, your local library very likely has a copy or three.

The ONLY criterion for putting a book online or not is legal.We didn’t publish this book, so it is not online. Sigh.

I read The Ultimate Resource 2 by Julian Simon, and I highly recommend it. It is a bit long, but it’s very readable.
