This is similar to my thread about ignorant people you’ve debated, except that was more of a rant, and this thread has a more positive twist. Whether a casual debate you have had ends well or rotten, we always hear some type of argument or backing of views from the other side. The response may have some legitimate or educated backing or not, either way, I’m sure other people have used such arguments. Everyone tends to pick up pieces of their own political logic from someone else. So, I suggest any type of casual argument that may come up in your day to day lives, we post a small synopsis of such response, and we pick them apart here.
I’m quite sure the general population all shares some type of backing in arguments, we will all here similar arguments somewhere. Placing it here, and picking it apart or responding to it here, will help us when we are in actual discussions. Good idea? Besides, I’ve always thought that serious debate never wins people over to an idea, rather casual friendly conversation.
