CFA Magazine article on Austrian economics

The CFA Institute Magazine for March/April 2011 has an article entitled, “Vienna Calling: Can Austrian economics give investors an advantage?” The CFA Institute is the global association of investment professionals that awards the CFA designation (Chartered Financial Analyst).

I am a CFA charterholder, and hold the Institute in high regard. That said, it is a mainstream, establishment organization. Any mention of Austrian economics is good news that the word is getting out. To see Menger, Bohm-Bawerk, Mises and Hayek mentioned in a CFA publication is truly radical.

I’m not tech savvy enough to figure out how to link the article here within the CFA Institute’s licensing agreement. Any ideas?

I am sitting for Level 2 in June. Very establishment focused organization but I do respect the rigorous curriculum.

I was thinking about proposing a CAE- Chartered Austrian Economist to the institute. Think there would be any interest?
