Chicago School Media

I’ve been trying to find more papers and media in general by Milton Friedman, so I was wondering if there’s a Mises-type website for the Chicago School. I can’t seem to find any Friedman media on this website. I thought some considered him part-Austrian, but I guess not.

There’s the University of Chicago economics department website, though it’s not really compararable to mises.org in terms of either results or intentions. The IEA might be a better bet, even since their post bubble swing toward the Austrian School, they are still quite receptive to Chicago, and much of the literature there is written by Chicagoites. Quite obvious, should be the link to Gary Becker’s video.

Personally I find many Chicago thinkers intriguing, though I think they are dead wrong on methodology and the “neutrality” of money.

There’s no Mises type website for the Chicago school because it’s hard to get people excited about utilitarian analysis. It’s the same reason why there are few John Maynard Keynes fan clubs (apart from those with a vested interest, i.e. in academia).
