Absolutely. As if creating an artificial trading market solves the calculation problem of determining how much CO2 is “right”.
I saw a documentary (in dutch, sorry) about how farmers earn UN CO2 tickets to sell on the Chicago Exchange for NOT producing food.
So if hyperinflation + artificially idle land + artificial CO2 cost all get translated in food prices in the next decade… not pretty.
