Climate Change ad

Can someone tell me what the heck this ad means? Is it saying climate change turns people into fish?

Could be alluding to sea levels rising or mutations due to pollution. Who knows.

Well, even after the horror of mutating into a fish, he has managed to maintain a great sense of style.

He definitely gets my award for the best dressed fish dude.

If their science tells them I am in danger of becoming a fish, so much the worse for their science…

:-p

Wow. It pains me to think these people still think people will take them seriously…

2 things i find hilarious is their focus on the word change, as if they have no sense of the dynamism of nature, as well as when they try to convince you that melting ice caps are what will cause ocean levels to rise. A high school physics student should be able to tell you that’s bollocks! (What is the real issue is the greenland ice sheet, but enviromentalists seem to be so illiterate of science they can’t even mention the evidence that actually supports their case)

Cus the ice caps will melt and we’ll have to become fish cus of all the new ocean water. Frankly if we were fish we’d have 3x more extra space to homestead. It would probably collapse many states. Thats the real reason to oppose global warming.

I used to think leftist environmentalists were anything but politically incorrect, but I guess I was wrong.

Damn shame . . . when fish-people were just starting to become accepted: this??

This is The Rapture of the dogmatic left. So basically we’ll have a bunch of designer fish rising into the skies to meet the Lord. They’ll probably be 33rd degree Freemasons too. Can’t wait for 2012!

The World Wildlife Foundation is a front for a quite wacky agenda. I recall reading that one of its founders or presidents wanted to remove the human population from Africa or some such. A typical eugenicist in Julian Huxley. An ironic ad coming from people that do want to change us.

+10 internets

Please copy this over to the Freedom Images thread. It belongs there for a good laugh.

P.S. I don’t think the ad is real…but it is funny.

Where can I buy a shirt like that? Classy!

Isn’t this type of speech encouraged under a free society. Non-coercive speech that gets people to act? Do what I can to minimize climate change. I do a lot personally, but it is not “for the climate” It just happens to coincide with less pollution. Like using bike more often for errands, limiting use of AC and heating, etc…

Wibee, ancaps defend to right to say your opinion, does not mean we support your opinion if it’s nonsensical.

Yea, absoluely. Was justing pointing it out. The ad is ridiculous. Reminds me of the fish on SpongeBob.

CO2 is not a pollutant

Oil in the Gulf is not a pollutant because it forms naturally?

CO2 is a pollutant because it is a byproduct that is purposfully pumped into that atmosphere. With debatable effects on the environment.

  1. What do you exhale? Are you part of the environment?

  2. Where did the CO2 ORIGINALLY come from? (don’t say burning of fossil fuels). It was originally in the atmosphere but absorbed by plant life.

What is relevant is that it is being reintroduced into the environment at a massive scale. It’s like food, too much of it and it becomes hazardous. I think some foods contain cyanide as well. However, as I said earlier, the problems excessive CO2 brings is debatable. All I know for a fact, is that Cap and Trade is bad.

But, I am not an expert and can’t comment on the hazards of CO2. However, the existance of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is proof enough to question their results.
