I could have made this a question, but if it exist it would just be a discussion.
I want to know if there is any [contemporary] literature from a communist stand point that goes over capitalism, and more specifically Austrian economics. Has there ever been anything published that specifically goes over Mises (or more specifically Human Action)?
I can’t say I know or heard of any modern authors that come from the communist side. I’m wondering if any of them ever write about the Austrians. The Austrians have spent a great deal debunking and deconstructing Marx piece by piece, I wonder if they ever tried to do the same with Mises, Hayek, Rothbard, etc.
Another reason I’m asking this is because it seems that the Austrian’s have spent a lot of time studying Marx and communism, but I hardly ever hear or actually came across a Marxist/communist who had anything to say about Mises, Hayek, or Rothbard (except maybe knowing who they are, but nothing of their work).
The Marxists spent a lot of time debating with the Austrians during late 19th-early 20th century. There hasn’t been much debate more recently because there aren’t as many Austrians and even fewer (serious) Marxist economists

Well, has anyone tried to insert the subjective theory of value into marxism? Because I can’t see a marxist point of view standing much of a chance in a debate if it insists in the very flawed LTV.
About anti-Austrian literature by marxists, there is of course the famous defense of the labour theory of value by Rudolf Hilferding. I have a recollection that marxist Paul Sweezy wrote anti-Böhmbawerkian preface into Böhm-Bawerk’s famous Karl Marx and the closing of his system.
I have no recollection about criticism’s of Mises/Hayek particularly. Google words “site:marxists.org mises” or “site:marxists.org hayek” and take a look at the results.
