Contra McGee - Predatory Pricing DID happen

I am reading McGee’s paper claiming there was no predatory pricing by Standard Oil:

http://www-personal.umich.edu/~twod/oil-ns/articles/research-oil/research-oil/john_mcgee_predatory_pricing_standard_oil1958.pdf

I have also found two papers by two authors claiming McGee was wrong. I thought you might find them interesting (I haven’t read them yet):

http://rd.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11151-011-9280-1

and

http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1091171

They are both password locked, but you can get around the first one by using

and changing the number at the end (it starts at 000.png).

Still haven’t figured out how to circumvent the second one.

Figured this link would be useful to have here:

P.S.

Is there some specific reason you made a new thread for this and did not post in your original McGee thread?

It’s a different topic.

Also, congrats on your 5555th post.
