Could ownership be thought of as the summation of two dimensional cross sections? Or, as I have posed the question before, can anyone think of a form of ownership which is void of volume? Radio signals do not have volume, per se, but it’s hard to think of an application in which you can command control of the signal itself versus the apparatus that admits the signal.

Radio signals (or frequency spectra) are electro-magnetic patterns. IMO, you’d have hard time claiming/recognizing ownership in them outside of the “tangible only” (anti-IP) property paradigm.
