Personally I don’t put much stock into the whole Tea Party movement; they strike me as mostly partisan hacks with a hardon for military spending and a generally inconsistent view on applying at least limited government principles. That being said it’s interesting that the some supporters of the Obama’s Administration policies have decided to engage in tactics that include attempts to discredit the Tea Party movement. I wouldn’t be so irritated by this if it weren’t for the fact that proponents of decentralization, limited government, the validity of nullification, a reform of America’s monetary system, and also those of us who are opposed to government in general are thrown in with the partisan hacks at the Tea Party movements
